Antenna TV Unveils Spring Program Schedule

Classic TV diginet Antenna TV is making some schedule changes for spring, including the primetime return of Johnny Carson.

There are no additions to the lineup but the 5PM-7AM single episode experiment is going away. As of March 30, all half-hour sitcoms will once again be running back-to-back episodes.

The other major change: “Binge TV for Free” Themed Weekend Marathons. Marathons will run from 12 Noon to 12 Midnight Saturdays and Sundays, kicking off with Murphy Brown and Newsradio. The marathons are scheduled to air from March 28 through Sunday May 10.

Here’s a look at the new Spring 2020 Antenna TV lineup (note the schedule does not reflect the aforementioned Themed Weekend Marathons):

Watch Your Favorite OTA Shows On Your Schedule

Need a DVR to record your favorite over-the-air shows? We recommend the TiVo Bolt OTA:

Keep in mind you do need to pay for the program guide information, either $7 a month or $250 lifetime (of the device).

These devices are easy to set up. You connect your antenna to the TiVo and the TiVo to your TV. Start up the DVR and do a channel scan. Once you have your channels scanned and download the program guide, you’re ready to go. You can record individual shows, set up a Season Pass to record all episodes, fast-forward through annoying commercials and even pause live TV.

If you don’t already have an HD antenna, consider the Mohu Leaf antenna (tip: use clear packing tape to attach the antenna in a window). Try positioning your antenna in different locations (windows, walls) to find the best reception in your location:
